Eddie’s Pizza was Fredericksburg’s first pizza spot, owned and operated by Eddie McGlothlin, who previously ran a shop in Quantico before opening in the Wakefield Hotel. Open from the late 1950s into the early 1970s, it was known for its rectangular pizza and two subs—meatball and Italian hoagie—and was a local favorite for takeout.
