GUINEA STATION

The southern run of the Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac Railway System was completed in 1836 and used in the Civil War from 1860-1865. Guinea Station was one of the many duplicated train stations along this route. Built in 1909-1910 and torn down in 1957, the picturesque building was a central part of the small village of Guinea in Caroline County Virginia.
