Sitting at the V section of Kenmore Avenue and Lee Avenue was a dry cleaning business known as Kenmore Cleaners. More popular than the business was it's proprietor, Mr. Bruce Shelton aka "Sprucey Brucey." Well know for his radio commercials along with DJ Jack Tucker was his gruff voice, (as he reported, the result of many years of cigarettes and scotch) He would sing his jingle "In by 10 dirty, clean by 4:30....The cleanest corner in town."
