Established in 1927 by the Doumas family, the Mayflower Restaurant was a popular William Street eatery located in the Bradford Building. The restaurant was sold to local businessman James Virvos around 1950. In March of 1963 a coffee urn started a significant fire, heavily damaging the buildings structure. After the fire the building was demolished.
