THE WHITE DINER

The White Diner was a beloved local landmark on U.S. Route 1, just across the Falmouth Bridge in Falmouth, Virginia—one of the oldest villages and ports in the United States.

Owned by Thelma Bullock, the diner built its reputation in the early 1950s for excellent breakfasts, fair prices, and made-from-scratch meals prepared with quality ingredients. The diner opened in the early 1950s and was purchased by Harry Yiasemides in 1986. Though now closed, it became a longtime favorite for generations of locals, many of whom returned for decades.
